Home decorating

I found a great Ansel Adams photo at the thrift and decided it was the perfect thing for my bedroom. I have been missing the mountains a lot lately (and have begun to think that my next big move might bring me much closer to some mountains, but more on that some other time). Hopefully this new addition will bring more dreams of mountaineering and if not, it's not the worst thing to wake up to everyday.

Sweaty, Sweaty, Sunday

After a fun night out in the city (sorry no pictures) Shipra and I made our way to Brooklyn via the Williamsburg Bridge (on foot of course)

Although it felt like we were melting into the pavement throughout the entire walk, we successfully made it across and met Amanda for brunch at Pies n' Thighs. I was very impressed with the brunch spread, especially by the biscuits!

After brunch we walked some more through Brooklyn (it was my first time to the borough) and couldn't resist stopping for some ice cream to cool off.

I made it safely back to Boston after a near perfect weekend in NYC. Despite the very, very warm temperatures we packed in quite a bit. Until next time NYC.

Saturday in the City

How does that saying go? A pictures is worth a thousand words? Well, here are a thousand pictures from my Saturday in New York City!

Highlights include: brunch, high line, naps, sushi, bloody mary's, and great friends.
